Money Saver: Hair Maintenance

Having two toddlers is a lot to keep up with. They seem to grow so fast and their hair even faster. So much to do as a busy homemaker from doctor visits, the housework, cooking, cleaning, etc. Making time for hair cuts every 4 weeks for two adults and two kids seems impossible and costly. I decided to start cutting my own hair. I now cut my whole family's hair. For just under $30 I can cut my entire family's hair every month for free when I used the CreaClip. Such a great product to use because it saves so much time and money. Nice and even every time and this product can be used to create different styles. Think of what you can do with all that money you save every month and the things you could be doing instead of driving to the barber or hair salon ever month. With a family of 4, I instantly started saving about $120 a month. Hope you find this helpful/

Stay-At-Home moms or "Cavemoms"

As a stay-at-home mom I spend many days feeling like I live in a cave mothering my young, shut inside all day like a caveman. I feel so isolated and cut off from society at times.  It can be overwhelming trying to do everything and feeling like you have accomplished the opposite, nothing.  Because there is always something(s) that get neglected. With money tight I started looking for ways to save, ways to "DIY" and ways to make my life just a little bit easier. Cavemen had to be resourceful and learn how do things for themselves. I started feeling like a caveman or "cavemom". So I decided to share things I've learned to save money and time, but also ways to give my children the best foundation in life. I hope to meet others who can also share the stay-at-home difficulties. I feel sympathy for the moms who work and come home to mom duties; how they make time for everything and work.
